We are proud to offer you always the right tool for your painting, renovating, redecorating etc. Our products are compatible with each other, so you will not have any troubles or tool problems while working!

The preparation
How much of the paint do you need?
2 times the length of the room plus 2 times the width of the room. The result must be multiplied with the height of the room. Then you have to add the length times width of the ceiling and now you know how many square meters you need.

Important: do not forget to subtract the area of the windows and doors!

Just a little hint: if you plan to use a basic paint with additional pigment: prepare a little bit more than you actually need. Put the surplus into a container – and you can use it anytime you need to do any fixing without problems with finding the right paint tone.

Hint: write down what kind of paint are you going to use, so you don’t have to look for it the next time you want to paint your walls. Be careful: you cannot paint on old glue bond distemper paint; you have to first wash the paint away with water.

Please read the producers information concerning the consistency and the use of the paint on the bin.

Please arrange for satisfactory ventilation after you have finished your painting work so the paint can dry and the malodors evaporate.

The best time to paint outdoor walls is in the springtime. The weather is mild, it’s not too cold and humid as in autumn or winter and the walls are dry. Please note: do not paint in hot summertime, with the direct isolation on the wall. It’s too hot, the paint will dry too fast and unevenly. Start with the edges and angles. Use the mako radiator brush or the mako storefront roller. Apply the paint from the bottom up in upright rows.

If you plan to work outdoors, you will have to consider that the surfaces to be painted are much larger then indoors. You can make you work much easier by using the mako handle extension. Apply the paint from the bottom up in upright passes; try to avoid any irregularities and lining.
Please read the producer’s information concerning the consistency and the use of the paint on bin.

If you work according to this hints, your painting will be a definite success and you will be able to enjoy the results for a long time!

The right cleaning

After you have finished your painting work you have to clean up your tools, so you can also use them the next time you need them. Please note:

Do not let the roller in the paint for longer time because it becomes unusable!

Immediately after finishing your work you have to wash your mako roller under running water and squeeze it hard so the fibers of the roller “stand up”.

Important: the roller has to be hung up for drying, if you just put it somewhere in the upright position the fibers will be crushed and the rolled will become unusable!

Other practical details about painting and the right cleaning can be found in the brochures attached to the mako rollers!

mako environmental hint

In case you don’t know what to do with the empty paint bin or the paint remains: some communities provide so-called recycling bin containers.

But did you know that you also can let the spare paint dry out in the bin, or that you can add saw dust to emulsion or low viscosity paint and thicken it, and after drying out you can dispose it in a regular waste bin. Many paint bins and buckets are marked with the green point (brand label), so you can dispose them in the yellow bag or yellow bucket.
Please read the producer’s information concerning the consistency and the use of the paint on the bin.

We guarantee the high quality of our products! Should you have any problems with one of ours quality products against to our expectation, please contact us, or your specialized adviser.
