| Surface
Smooth surfaces indoors, lightly structured wallpapers or
wooden surfaces. In this case also paper or fabric.
What you need
Paint:
Emulsion paint or latex paint for the walls, acrylic glaze
for wooden surfaces, in each case use a basis-colour tone
and then another tone for the special-effects.
For the basis-colour tone :
Use the mako wall roller or mako glaze roller.
For the stencil design:
use the mako stenciling tool set or the mako stenciling brush
or mako pattern and board stencils.
How to do it the right way
| 1. |
Apply the basis-colour tone using a mako
roller and let it dry good. |
| |
|
| 2. |
Attach the stencil with the help of the
adhesive tape (you will find it in the set) across the
surface you want to work on |
| |
|
| 3. |
Dip the mako foam roller from the mako
stenciling tool set or the mako stenciling brush carefully
in the paint container (included in the set) with the
special-effects paint. |
| |
|
| 4. |
Use a mako roller covered with paint and
roll it over the stencil or dip a mako brush over the
stencil.
Careful: by using more paint
the color will be stronger, by using less it will be lighter.
If you use more than one colour, then they have to each
dry seperatly before using a new colour. The stencils
also have to be cleaned before each new use. |
