Surface
Smooth surfaces indoors, woodchip wallpaper, lightly structured wallpapers or wooden surfaces but in this case also paper or fabric.

What you need

Paint:
Emulsion paint or latex paint for the walls, acrylic glaze for wooden surfaces, in each case use a basis-colour tone and then another tone for the special-effects.

For the basis-colour tone:
Use the mako wall roller or mako glaze roller.

For the stamp design:

Use the pattern stamps (2 different patterns in a set) and mako’s stamp handlesl.

How to do it the right way

1. Apply the basis-colour tone to the wall using the mako roller and let it dry well. (If you plan to paint on paper or fabric this step is often not necessary).

2. Dip the mako pattern stamp lightly in a shallow paint container, or put the paint on it with a brush. Dab it on a piece of cardboard first so the stamp will not smear with to much paint.
