Surface
Smooth surfaces indoors, woodchip wallpaper, slightly structured wallpaper or wooden surfaces. (The surfaces shouldn’t absorb too much of the paint).

What you need

Paint:
Emulsion paint or latex paint for the walls, acrylic glaze for wooden surfaces, in each case use a basis-colour tone and then another tone for the special-effects.

For the basis-colour tone:
U se the mako wall roller or mako glaze roller for an even coat of paint.

For the ragging design:
use either the mako ragging cloth, the mako leather ball and protection gloves, mako leather ragging roller, mako leather wallprinting roller or mako foil roller.

How to do it the right way

1. Paint the wall evenly with the basis-colour tone using the mako roller and let it dry good.

2. 2. How to work with the mako special-effects ragging cloth or the mako leather ball:
Wet the mako special-effects tools with clear water before starting to work. Then dip them into the special-effects paint (not too deep), squeeze them and dab them on a piece of paper. Give the ragging cloth a number 8 shape and move it around like a snake would move on the wall.

3. 3. How to work with the mako roller
Wet the mako roller slightly with water before starting to work and roll it shortly on a piece of paper or cardboard. Apply the special-effects paint all over the wall horizontally and diagonally (each stroke should be about 10 to 30 cm, and all of them should give a kind of “by accident” effect).
We advise you to use either acrylic glaze or varnish to protect your wooden surfaces. But do not forget to let the painted surface dry for at least 24 h before starting.
