Surface
Smooth surfaces indoors, woodchip wallpaper, slightly structured
wallpaper or wooden surfaces. (The surfaces shouldn’t
absorb too much of the paint).
What you need
Paint:
Emulsion paint or latex paint for the walls, acrylic glaze for
wooden surfaces, in each case use a basis-colour tone and then
another tone for the special-effects.
For the basis-colour tone:
Use the mako wall roller or mako glaze roller to achieve an
even coat of paint.
For the color washing design:
Use the mako special- effects brush, mako color washing gloves,
mako special-effects glove, mako currycomb and mako structuring
sponge or mako natural sponge.
How to do it the right way
| 1. |
Paint the wall evenly with the basis-colour
tone using the mako roller and let it dry well. |
| |
|
| 2. |
Wet the chosen mako special-effects
tool slighty with water before applying the special-effects
paint all over the wall (each wipe should be about 10
to 30 cm, and all of them should give a kind of “by
accident” effect). Let the paint dry well. After
finishing your work clean the mako natural sponge with
water and let it air-dry.
We advise you to use either acrylic glaze or varnish
to protect your wooden surfaces. But do not forget to
let the painted surface dry for at least 24 h before
starting.
